Walk

Walk

CREDIT: Written by me, performed by me, produced by Julien Palliere

Walk was written with a dear friend of mine, a producer named Julien Palliere. This was the first electronic track I had ever worked on.

Lyrics:

Verse:

It’s 3:43 in the morning when you walk in

The silence hangs from your shoulders, the air worn thin

Close your eyes, deepen the darkness, take it all in

Steal another moment, breathe in

You’ve been wearing paths through the city

Five second stops in cheap coffee shops

At midnight the seconds are liquid

Why sleep when you can walk?

Chorus

Does your heart beat too fast? You slip away from me

I don’t even know what you want to hear now

Told you to figure out what you’re asking

I will not be your question mark

You’re restless, you’re sinking, you’re searching for feelings

You can’t sleep - it’s been weeks and now you walk

Chorus
