The recording above was taken from a live performance of my piece played by my dear friend (and real life pianist) Artem Belogurov in 2016. It was the first classical piece I ever wrote and I was terrified to show people work that didn’t have lyrics. The melody, form, and style are deeply inspired by the famous Chopin nocturnes and Tchaikovsky Season series which I was playing at the time. Dedicated to my grandfather.
